messed up question read this one top nyc hospital malpratice attorneys?

had a sinus operation and suffering from complications: after the surgery suffered from a stoke, possibly related never had stroke before or heart attack after 1st follow up procedure suffered slurred speech the following day after the followup procedure, then the following day i suffered from a numb tongue the top part of the tongue not the bottom after the 2nd followup procedure i suffered a numbing feeling on my left side of my lips 2 hours after the procedure and a week later they are still numb and it has been ruled out that it is coming from the stroke since the stroke occured at the bottom part of the brain I was also diagnosed with diabetes never had it before I dropped the ball I did not ask the right questions concerning the risks involved and they did not tell me all the risks involved either they just minimized it and i dropped the ball i am angry at myself for on the day of the operation not asking the questions

  1. Do you have a copy of the consent form? In most states you have the right to request copy of your chart. Go through it. Get help if you don't understand. The risk should be in your chart. Also did you let your MD know you were having these problems. If so MD should have put you on medications for diabetes and maybe blood thinner if you were having "mini strokes" and if not contraindicated with other medical problems you may be having. It's hard to help you without knowing your medical history. Ask a medical professional, get your questions answered.
  2. Your diabetes was just unseen. You can not get it from a operation un less they took out your panaceas. The stroke you may have had was due to your diabetes.
