which New york hospital has the best critical care dept. and which hospital is research oriented?

Would be good if I can get names of people who are actively involved in research.

1. I am from NY and I believe Buffalo General is the best for critical care. Rochester General is good, it's is affilated with the Rochester Univerisity they do a lot of research up there.
