Medical Malpractice

Is law school or medical school the right choice??

I am 23 and I have a Sociology degree and will finish my MBA in a year. I am thinking about going to law school in the future however I have always wanted to go to medical school too. I started college as a biology major but struggled through my sciences for 2 years before changing my major altogether. I thought about going back to school and giving the medical route another try but I don’t want to waste my time if my struggles now are just things to come in medical school. I struggled mostly in physics and math. My transcript for the first two years as a biology major does not look too impressive and as far as the science classes I got A’s and B’s in, they did not come easy for me at all. It wasn’t until I changed majors that I started bringing my grades up. Does it sound like I would set myself up for disappointment if I try the medical route again or do I need to stay with what I am good in?

  1. law school
  2. If you are good at what you do you will generally enjoy your career more. Picture yourself down the road in 10 to 15 years, what do you see yourself doing? If you truly want to go to medical school and decide that is what will make you truly happy, then I say do it but make sure you are so dedicated to study your butt off for the science classes, because they will be tough. As long as you enjoy what you do, everything will work out. Good luck!
  3. U should never give up on ur dreams prematurely. U never know if ur good at it unless u try. Just a couple of cliches for u to start. But really if u enjoy the medical field go for it, just remember how many times Einstein messed up before he got E=MC2? And Thomas Eddison? & Benjamin Franklin. And I have one more thing to add, Robert frost...."and I took the road less travled by & that has made all the difference."
  4. go to med school, i wanted to and i was taking pre med classes until my funds ran out and then i changed to nursing
  5. Stick with what you want to do,and be the best that you can be. Good Luck.
  6. Do you know if you have a shot at medical school? A and B's in science classes is still pretty good. It sounds like your heart is in medicine. Almost nobody has an "easy" time in the science classes. It's a constant struggle all the way til you become a doctor. And the learning doesn't stop even then. THere's just too much to know. Law can be a horrific waste of time if your heart isn't in to it. There's no minimum salary like there is for doctors. You can spend a ton of money for law school and not have anything to show for it.
