is there a texas law that requires medical buildings to have handicap accessible power doors?

i was in an auto accident and crushed my leg. i went to a new medical office and mri imaging building and it was difficult to open the doors. no auto open or a button to push. an older crippled man helped me. what an atrosity the handicap have to deal with daily to access(especially a medical building) buildings. if there is no state law that public buildings must have an automatic door or button operated door, how does one go about getting these type of laws started? i no longer take for granted anything.

1. Texas law? I'm doubtful. However, check out the ADA.
2. The ADA does not require automatic doors. It would be highly unlikely you could get such a law passed because small business owners would fight you every step of the way. Such a law would require every small business to install automatic doors and would be prohibitively expensive.
