1. Supposedly upstate, near Manhattan, or within a train ride of it (if the train isn't blown off it's tracks in the middle of a tunnel like it did during sweeps).
2. There is no Port Charles in NY, but I would guess its based on something on Long Island.
3. Along the coastline somewhere. But it doesn't actually exist.
4. Port Charles, doesn't exist, but the city is supposed to be in upstate New York, near Manhattan because the story-lines always mention something about an hour drive or train ride to Manhattan to go into the city. Fun Fact: General Hospital is actually shot in Los Angeles.
5. wow all of you are so stupid. manhattan is not upstate new york. it's the city. Port Charles is fictional. It is supposedly based on Rochester, NY.
6. Port Charles (fictional city) is located in Upstate New York, most likely on the shores of Lake Ontario near the city of Rochester.
